What we restore

The centre works on unique and irreplaceable pieces of cultural heritage that have great artistic and cultural value – from a Roman mosaic to a Picasso painting, via a Gothic corbel and a Baroque altarpiece.

The centre conserves and restores movable cultural heritage of the following types: archaeological materials, murals, stone sculptures, wood sculptures and panel paintings, and paintings on textile. Other specialities, such as textiles, precious metals, archive and graphic material, furniture, models and contemporary art, are handed over to specialists in that area, who work under the centre’s management.
